|Use Brightness to set the level of color brightness for the entire image. To increase or decrease the color brightness, specify a value between -100 and 100. The brightness of the color channel you make adjustments for will be increased or decreased, according to the value you specified.
- Drag the slider to adjust the brightness. Dragging to the left decreases the brightness level and to the right increases it. The changes you make with the slider are automatically displayed in the related box, and vice versa.
- You can also use spin buttons to adjust the brightness level or type a certain value in the Brightness box. To increase the brightness, click an arrow pointing up. To decrease brightness, click an arrow pointing down.
When entering a value in the Brightness box, follow these rules:
- To decrease the image brightness, in the Brightness box, type a value between -100 and -1.
To increase the image brightness, in the Brightness box, type a value between 1 and 100.
|View the image in the preview box and make some further adjustments if needed.
