Enlarge/Reduce Image

Use Enlarge/Reduce to reduce or enlarge the size of the resulting image. To enlarge or reduce the image size, you can specify a Scale value between 25 and 400. The linear dimensions of the scanned image will be enlarged or reduced proportionally, according to the scale value you specified.
  • Drag the slider to adjust the Scale value. Dragging to the left decreases the scale value and to the right increases it. The changes you make with the slider are automatically displayed in the related box, and vice versa.
  • You can also use spin buttons to adjust the scale value, or type a certain value in the Scale box. To increase scale value, click an arrow pointing up. To decrease scaling factor, click an arrow pointing down.
When entering a value in the Scale box, follow these rules:
To enlarge the image, in the Scale box, type a value between 101 and 400.
To reduce the image, in the Scale box, type a value between 25 and 99.
View the enlarged or reduced image in the preview box and make some further adjustments if needed.
